Initial Weekend

Who should attend?

The Initial Weekend is for those couples:

  • Constantly arguing or fighting
  • Experiencing coldness or conflict
  • Frustrated, hurt, or angry with their spouse
  • Alone or distant from their spouse
  • Anxious about their marriage relationship
  • Disillusioned or bored in their marriage
  • Without the time or desire to communicate
  • Unable to see how to change their situation
  • Considering divorce

WHEN: 7:00 p.m. on Friday until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Six follow-up sessions are designed to reinforce what you learned during the initial weekend.  Please commit to attending as many post-sessions as possible.  A session schedule will be outlined at the end of your weekend.

WHAT TO BRING: Dress is casual and layered comfortable clothing is best.  Please bring a store-bought, sealed snack to share with the other couples.

COST: Non-refundable $125.00 deposit for couples.  The deposit is required to confirm your registration, materials, food and lodging; however, no couple is ever denied the chance to heal and renew their marriage because they are facing financial difficulties.  This concern should not influence your decision to come to Retrouvaille.  On the weekend, couples will be asked to make an anonymous donation to help cover our expenses.  This one donation covers both the expenses of the weekend and all the follow-up sessions.

DIRECTIONS will be included with confirmation letters upon receipt of registration.
